
I stumbled upon an ad relating to our current project for the ad advertising direction class. I like how they make the speed relating to how cars hit bugs on the freeways but on the person's face. Coming up with a concept like this seems easy but is actually very difficult without being too conceptual or too literal.
I was doing some research on some ads also for that class and I agree, when I look at some of these ads that are so clever, I think to myself, "I could of thought of that!" or "That's so simple!", but yet when i'm actually trying to create an ad myself it seems almost impossible. Yes I think there has to be some balance, you want to add enough information so people can get it, but you don't want to give the answer out right away. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.
